On the afternoon of March 10th, the Anhui delegation to the First Session of the 14th National People's Congress held a plenary meeting. Zheng Shanjie, the head of the Anhui delegation, presided over the meeting, and vice leaders Wang Qingxian, Liu Haiquan, Fei Gaoyun, and Tao Minglun attended.

At the meeting, the delegation discussed and considered the candidates for the Premier of the State Council, the candidates for the Vice Chairman and Members of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China. They also discussed and considered the candidates for the Director of the National Supervisory Commission, the candidates for the President of the Supreme People's Court of PRC, the candidates for the Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of PRC, and the candidates for the Members of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
