A media briefing for the 2026 "E-Sports Anhui · Ziyun Mountain" Series of Events was held in Hefei on the afternoon of June 9. It was announced at the briefing that themed "E-Sports Anhui · All-Round E-Sports Arena", this year’s events will officially launch in the coming days and run through November. Four flagship core activities will be rolled out during the period, namely the First Anhui Provincial Urban E-Sports Super League, Anhui-Taiwan Youth E-Sports & Shenshan Cultural Carnival, the Grand Finals of the 2026 Honor of Kings Women’s Open, and the 7th International University E-Sports Festival.
Personnel in charge of relevant departments from the Publicity Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Anhui Provincial Sports Bureau attended the briefing, alongside event officials from Communication University of China and TiMi E-Sports Center of Tencent Interactive Entertainment, who also took questions from journalists.
The 2026 "E-Sports Anhui · Ziyun Mountain" Series aims to foster and expand emerging consumption forms including e-sports, build original Anhui-branded tournament events, and bolster Anhui’s distinctive e-sports image. The inaugural "E-Sports Anhui · Ziyun Mountain" Series, themed "Boundless Arena", was hosted at Anhui Baixi City and Leijie Street in November 2025, garnering over 300 million total online exposures across all platforms.
