2025 Anhui's Foreign Trade Scale in First 11 Months Exceeds Last Year's Annual Total
On December 10, reporters learned from Hefei Customs that in the first 11 months of this year, the total value of Anhui Province's goods trade imports and exports reached 901.57 billion yuan, surpassing last year's full-year total of 864.85 billion yuan.
Data show that in the first 11 months, the province's total goods trade imports and exports increased by 15.3% year-on-year. Among them, exports amounted to 605.26 billion yuan, up 15.9% year-on-year, while imports totaled 296.31 billion yuan, up 14% year-on-year. In terms of monthly data, Anhui's imports and exports in November reached 88.9 billion yuan, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 15.7%. Regarding rankings, in the first 11 months, Anhui's total import and export value ranked 9th nationwide and 1st in central China. The growth rates of imports and exports, exports, and imports ranked 4th, 7th, and 5th, respectively, nationwide.
Why has the total import and export value maintained double-digit growth? Looking at export products, the "new trio" products have seen a significant surge in exports, with automobile exports exceeding 1 million units for the first time in a year. In the first 11 months of this year, the combined exports of electric vehicles, lithium-ion batteries, and photovoltaic products—the "new trio" products—reached 85.29 billion yuan, ranking sixth nationwide. This represents an 88.2% year-on-year increase and accounts for 14.1% of the province's total export value. During the same period, the province exported 1.056 million automobiles (including chassis), surpassing 1 million units for the first time in a year, firmly securing the top position nationwide. This marks a 22.1% year-on-year increase, with a total value of 112.51 billion yuan, up 29.5% year-on-year. Additionally, exports of laptops and household appliances amounted to 47.08 billion yuan and 32.81 billion yuan, respectively, reflecting year-on-year growth of 19.2% and 5.2%.
In terms of trading partners, ASEAN is Anhui Province's largest trade partner. In the first 11 months of this year, the total trade value with ASEAN reached 125.53 billion yuan, a 37.4% year-on-year increase, accounting for 13.9% of the province's total foreign trade value. During the same period, the province's total import and export value with countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative amounted to 488.36 billion yuan, a 15.9% year-on-year increase. Trade with other RCEP member countries reached 231.72 billion yuan, a 23.8% year-on-year increase.
Private enterprises have continued to play a leading role, with imports and exports of various market entities growing rapidly. In the first 11 months, the total import and export value of private enterprises in Anhui Province reached 460.45 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.9%, accounting for 51.1% of the province's total foreign trade. Foreign-invested enterprises achieved an import and export value of 220.5 billion yuan, up 18.1% year-on-year. State-owned enterprises recorded an import and export value of 220.56 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 13.3%.
