In the river channel of the Water Diversion Project from the Yangtze River to the Huai River in Ketan Town, the Yangtze River water continuously flows into Chaohu Lake

On April 16th, boats were traveling in the canal of the Yangtze River in Ketan Town, Lujiang County, Hefei City, Anhui Province. The Yangtze River water continues to flow into Chaohu Lake.

The "Water Diversion Project from the Yangtze River to the Huai River" is a landmark project among 172 major water conservancy projects in China, and it is also the "Number One Project" for infrastructure construction in Anhui Province. After completion, its water supply scope covers Anhui and Henan provinces.

The water of the Yangtze River first flows into Caizi Lake through the Cai-Chao line (Caizi Lake to Chaohu Lake) of the "Water Diversion Project from the Yangtze River to the Huai River", which passes through the Zongyang hub. Then it flows downstream through another section of Cai-Chao line, and finally reaches Chaohu Lake, to replenish the water and greatly improves the ecological environment of the Chaohu Lake.
