On the morning of March 25th, 2023, the Hefei Orienteering Competition and the 5th "Shenye Cup" Staff Orienteering Competition of the Anhui Chaohu Economic Development Zone started in the Bantang Hot Spring Health Resort.

The competition set up a total of five categories and three routes:

-Male and female employee individuals

-Male and female public individuals

-Parent-child group

The new competition format has upgraded from team competition to individual points-based competition. The event has attracted over a thousand orienteering enthusiasts to compete, adding a beautiful landscape to Bantang.

During the competition, it was also the Tulip Festival, with fields of colorful tulips showcasing the beautiful spring scenery.

This competition is only one week away from the 2023 Hefei Public Fitness Sports Games - Health Running Competition, making it the best warm-up for the first competition in April. Many participants who registered for the orienteering competition will also participate in next week's event to familiarize themselves with the track in advance and form an interaction between these two municipal events.
