【AICC Original Video】International Youth Experience the Craftsmanship of Huizhou Intangible Cultural Heritage

On May 18, the “Mountains, Waters and Culture of Ancient Huizhou — International Insights into Ever-renewing Huangshan” International Joint Workshop was held in Huangshan. More than 200 international students from countries including Pakistan, Russia, and South Korea visited the Hu Kaiwen Inkstick Factory and the Huangshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum to explore some of Huizhou’s most iconic traditional crafts. From learning about the making of Huizhou Ink and She inkstones to experiencing the artistry of Huizhou bamboo carving, the students immersed themselves in the craftsmanship, history, and cultural heritage behind these centuries-old traditions.
