Stepping into the workshop of Anhui Biopin Industrial Co., Ltd. in Lujiang High-Tech Zone, rows of intelligent machines run at high speed. Aluminium easy-open ends merely 0.2 millimetres thick roll off production lines nonstop. After packaging, they are loaded into shipping containers for overseas delivery, supplying beverage brands across the world.

Lin Jianjun, Production Manager of the End-Making Division at Anhui Biopin Industrial Co., Ltd., stated: “We operate four production lines with a daily output of over 9 million easy-open ends, mainly exported to more than 20 countries including Europe, America, Central Asia, Southeast Asia and South Korea. Though easy-open ends may look simple, we hold more than 10 utility model patents and 2 invention patents.”

At present, the enterprise has built a complete industrial chain with an annual capacity of 28,000 tonnes of lightweight aluminium sheet and strip, plus 3 billion easy-open ends. It has transformed itself from an aluminium material supplier into a one-stop aluminium service provider. Its export volume reached nearly 30 million US dollars in the first half of this year, with easy-open ends serving as the major driver of foreign exchange revenue.

Moving forward, Biopin Industrial is targeting an annual output value of 600 million yuan. It will continue to scale up R&D investment, act as a pacesetter for Lujiang’s manufacturing exports, and contribute corporate strength to the development of new-quality productive forces at the county level.
