【AICC Original Article】Gotion High‑tech Hits Six‑Year‑High Revenue in First Half‑Year
Against the backdrop of sweeping reshuffles and intensifying competition across the global power‑battery sector, Hefei‑headquartered Gotion High‑tech has delivered a solid first‑half‑2026 report featuring growth in both output and profitability. Its semi‑annual report released on August 25 shows the company posted operating revenue of 27.776 billion yuan, a year‑on‑year rise of 43.22%, marking its highest H1 revenue in six years. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached 1.386 billion yuan, surging 278.05% year‑on‑year.
The power‑battery business acted as its core growth driver. In the first half of the year, Gotion High‑tech’s power‑battery segment generated revenue of 22.597 billion yuan, jumping 61.01% year‑on‑year and accounting for over 80% of total revenue, giving a strong boost to overall performance.
According to data from SNE Research, the company’s global power‑battery installed capacity hit 28 GWh, up 43.3% year‑on‑year, far outpacing the global industry average growth rate of 20.0%. It secured a 4.6% global market share, ranking fifth worldwide.
Its domestic market footprint was further consolidated. Domestic installed capacity reached 20.75 GWh in H1, growing 34% year‑on‑year, well above the national industry‑wide growth rate of 12.0%. Its domestic market share rose from 5.18% to 6.19%, placing it third in China’s market.
In addition, Gotion High‑tech kept upgrading its customer portfolio. While continuing to supply major vehicle models for Chery, Geely and Leapmotor, it won project appointments for premium models under HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility and Volkswagen series in the first half‑year, officially gaining access to the supply chains of two industry giants‑‑Huawei and Volkswagen.
Commercial‑vehicle and emerging‑scenario applications have become its second‑growth curve for power‑battery business. In H1, Gotion High‑tech’s power‑battery installed volume for commercial vehicles stood at 7.66 GWh, an 87.29% year‑on‑year increase. Its self‑developed G‑series standardized battery packs have gone into mass delivery, serving leading enterprises including FAW Jiefang, Chery Commercial Vehicle, Sany Truck and Geely Farizon Auto. Meanwhile, its business has expanded into diversified sectors such as construction machinery, electric vessels, two‑wheelers and low‑altitude aircraft.
Notably, the industrialization of Gotion High‑tech’s next‑generation battery technologies has been accelerated. The G‑Yuan hybrid solid‑liquid‑state batteries have achieved mass production. The Gemstone all‑solid‑state battery has reached an energy density above 400 Wh/kg and passed rigorous safety tests including nail‑penetration and high‑temperature oven tests. A 0.2‑GWh pilot production line has been completed to advance vehicle‑mounted road tests, while the overall design of a 2‑GWh mass‑production line for all‑solid‑state batteries is finished. Company officials stated that Gotion High‑tech will keep increasing investment in cutting‑edge R&D, upgrade cell performance and the comprehensive competitiveness of its full‑range products, and develop safe, high‑efficiency, low‑carbon integrated green‑energy solutions covering both power and energy‑storage tracks.
