According to information obtained by our reporter from Dangshan County on March 19th, the 31st Dangshan Pear Blossom Festival will commence on March 29th, with activities running until April 10th. Based on forecasts from the meteorological department, the optimal period for viewing the pear blossoms this year is expected to be from March 29th to April 6th.

This year's Pear Blossom Festival, themed "Ancient Dangshan for a Millennium, Fragrant Pear Blossoms in the City," is meticulously planned around four main sections featuring 13 distinctive activities, aiming to fully showcase the breathtaking spring scenery and unique cultural charm of the "Pear Capital." Highlights include the "Encountering 'China chic' in the Pear Garden" Hanfu parade tour, the "Misty Forest, Blossom Sea Spectacle" light and shadow show in the pear orchard, and the "100 Performances of Huangmei Opera in 100 Scenic Spots" series. Other arrangements feature the "Taste of the City" cultural tourism product tasting, and events like "Vibrant Scenery in the Pear Orchard, A Thousand People Painting the Flower Sea Together." Culinary offerings will also be a highlight, with creatively presented dishes such as the "Golden Silk Pear and Shrimp Ball" and "Longan Pear and Pumpkin" being part of a specially curated "Crispy Pear Feast."

To facilitate travel and enjoyment for tourists from out of town, Dangshan County has introduced a series of warm and beneficial public service policies. These include incentives such as scenic spot ticket discounts and special offers on homestay accommodations for visitors presenting high-speed rail or train tickets.
