U.S. teacher Ronald Sakolsky returned to Inner Mongolia, China, to reunite with tree planter Yin Yuzhen. In 1999, he raised 5,000 U.S. dollars to support her fight against desertification.
Today, the saplings have grown into a forest of 50,000 trees, and a friendship rooted in the desert has grown just as strong.
