【AICC Original Article】Anhui’s Smart Manufacturing Takes the Spotlight at CISCE
On June 24, inside the Digital & Intelligent Technology Chain Exhibition Area of the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), the crisp, continuous sound resembled beans being poured out. The ultra-intelligent sorting machine manufactured by Anhui Jiexun Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. operated in perfect order. Plump, intact beans smoothly passed inspection, while moldy or misshapen defective products were precisely filtered out with pinpoint accuracy.
A senior executive from Jiexun Optoelectronic commented: "We exhibited in the Green Agriculture Chain last year. Having upgraded our products with digital intelligence, we moved to the Digital & Intelligent Technology Chain this year." Today, this set of "smart eyes" is deployed in more than 100 countries and regions worldwide, acting as a quality gatekeeper on production lines for rice, tea, and even recycled resources.
The single shift from "digital" to "digital and intelligent" reflects how scientific and technological innovation empowers industrial and supply chains at a deeper level.
As vehicles grow increasingly smart, the usability and reliability of vehicle cabins have become decisive factors shaping consumer choices. At the expo, the VIAS human-machine interaction evaluation robot for smart cabins, developed by the National Innovation Center for Intelligent Speech Manufacturing, offered a digital and intelligent solution to longstanding industry bottlenecks.
With the rollout of multi-modal interaction and AI Agent technologies, smart cabins are evolving from simple stacked functions toward cognitive intelligence. Traditional manual testing often takes weeks and cannot replicate road noise under real driving conditions, slowing down automakers’ product iterations. According to the booth representative, VIAS serves as a tireless automated inspector. It can run tens of thousands of automated tests on vehicle infotainment systems before launch, cutting a full round of interaction testing from weeks down to just one to three days. The testing cycle has been reduced by over 80 percent, with efficiency boosted tenfold.
Further upstream along industrial chains, the digital and intelligent transformation of basic material manufacturing is also picking up speed, forming a vital pillar for China’s high-end manufacturing sector.
At the booth of Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group, visitors saw a rich array of products including copper strips, copper rods and copper foils.
When reporters took these for ordinary industrial supplies, staff pointed to a roll of copper foil and revealed its high value. Copper foil for electronic circuits is the core raw material for copper-clad laminates and printed circuit boards, serving as an indispensable foundation for the modern electronic information industry. Products from Tongguan Copper Foil are widely used in high-end sectors including AI servers, aerospace, semiconductor packaging and automotive circuit boards.
In recent years, driven by digitalization and intelligent upgrading, Tongling Nonferrous Metals has accelerated its development in high-end copper foil production. Targeting high-frequency, high-speed scenarios such as 5G and artificial intelligence, the enterprise has made continuous breakthroughs in core technologies. Several of its products have broken foreign monopolies and filled gaps in the domestic market.
As a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation gathers pace, digital and intelligent technologies represented by artificial intelligence are reshaping the global development landscape. The 4th CISCE acts like a prism, clearly showing the marks of smart manufacturing left by Anhui enterprises at critical links of industrial and supply chains.
