【AICC Original Article】Off we go! Head to Anhui for a grand gathering brimming with technology
In April, Anhui is filled with the vibrant "spirit of sci-tech innovation."
From April 26 to 28, the Fourth China (Anhui) Science and Technology Innovation Achievement Transformation Fair will arrive as scheduled.
This is no ordinary exhibition—it is a national-level event approved by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the Anhui Provincial People's Government, and an important activity in the construction of the Yangtze River Delta International Science and Technology Innovation Center.
Since its inception in 2021, the fair has been successfully held three times, attracting over 100,000 participants from national ministries and commissions, renowned universities and research institutes, tech companies, and investment and financing institutions.
Some say that in just three years, the fair has evolved from being a "spectacle" to showing real "substance."
The data speaks for itself: over the first three sessions, a total of 780 sci-tech achievement projects were signed, with a total value of nearly 230 billion yuan. The contracted value has nearly quadrupled—from 28.17 billion yuan at the first session to 108.93 billion yuan at the third.
Behind the numbers lies the true embodiment of scientific and technological achievements.
The fourth edition of the fair will focus on key industrial sectors of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, featuring an exhibition area of approximately 21,000 square meters. Adopting a "1+7" layout, it will include an introductory hall, as well as dedicated zones showcasing the leadership of Hefei Binhu Science City, the growth of emerging industries, the cultivation of future industries, the revitalization of traditional industries, the empowerment of the sci-tech service industry, and thematic interaction areas. The event will also host activities such as achievement releases, technology matchmaking, and project negotiations.
The biggest highlight of this year's fair is the debut of the Shanghai (Yangtze River Delta) International Science and Technology Innovation Center exhibition zone.
The exhibition is more innovative, showcasing transformable sci-tech achievements across entire industrial chains, aligned with the development of new quality productive forces and Anhui's distinctive modern industrial system.
The quality is also higher, with a host of new, high-tech achievements making their debut. The proportion of achievements being unveiled or exhibited for the first time has significantly increased.
The transformation of scientific and technological achievements is never an overnight process.
Nor is the fair an endpoint—it is yet another starting line.
The seeds have been sown. This April, the Jianghuai region is once again awaiting a new harvest of sci-tech innovation.
