Recently, the Anhui Provincial Low‑Altitude Flight Service Center has officially begun trusteeship management and operation of the Wuhu Low‑Altitude Flight Service Station, marking the implementation of China's first integrated provincial‑and‑municipal two‑level low‑altitude flight service platform operation model in Wuhu city.

As the nation's third pilot province for low‑altitude airspace management reform and the only one in the Yangtze River Delta, Anhui has vigorously promoted the construction of a low‑altitude service system in recent years. The inclusion of the Wuhu station under provincial unified operation is a key step in deepening reform and building a coordinated, province‑wide management framework. Under the new model, the provincial center is responsible for province‑wide airspace resource coordination and dynamic control, while the Wuhu station focuses on flight support, on‑site coordination, and emergency response, achieving efficient collaboration and safe operations via a digital platform.

"In 2025, Anhui's low‑altitude flight volume doubled year‑on‑year. After integrated operation, our city's general aviation enterprises and flight users will receive more standardized, convenient, and efficient services, which will help further stimulate market vitality and attract related industry clustering," said a representative from the Wuhu Municipal Transportation Department. The source added that this model is an important innovation in building a unified, efficient, and collaborative low‑altitude flight service system in the province and provides strong support for Wuhu to deepen its general aviation industry layout, expand new application scenarios, and accelerate the development of the low‑altitude economy.
