On December 23, reporters in Feixi County learned that the second phase of PylonTech's 10 GWh lithium‑battery R&D and manufacturing base has broken ground. The project aims to further expand advanced production capacity, achieve breakthroughs in the high‑end segments of energy‑storage system manufacturing, and meet the steadily growing global demand for energy storage with high‑quality intelligent manufacturing.

PylonTech is China's first publicly listed company with energy storage as its main business, providing electrochemical energy‑storage solutions to customers worldwide. Its products are widely used in home energy storage, commercial and industrial storage, source‑to‑grid storage, telecom base‑station backup, light‑duty power, and battery‑swap systems for heavy trucks, with business spanning more than 90 countries and regions.

The Hefei base under construction is a key link in PylonTech's global manufacturing layout. Since the launch of phase one in Feixi, the operation has formed a production team of over a thousand people and steadily increased capacity, validating the technical and manufacturing strength of "Made in Hefei" products and accumulating valuable experience for seizing opportunities in the global energy transition. The second phase represents a comprehensive upgrade on the success of phase one, intended to expand advanced capacity and strengthen the industrial layout to better meet market demand.

Since the successful commissioning of phase one, PylonTech's capacity has leapt forward. Its R&D and manufacturing base deeply integrates intelligent and green principles and has built a fully autonomous production chain covering cell manufacturing, module packaging, and energy‑storage system integration. The base is equipped with more than 1,000 automated machines and uses digitalized production lines for precise end‑to‑end control to ensure product consistency and reliability.

The start of the second‑phase project is another solid step toward PylonTech's vision of "bringing energy storage services to millions." In addition to advancing phase two, PylonTech has also officially signed a 2 GWh energy‑storage battery and integration project. Planned on about 93 mu of land, once completed it will further improve the Feixi energy‑storage industrial chain layout and accelerate the creation of a Yangtze River Delta energy‑storage industry hub.
