On December 18, the 2025 Anhui-Hong Kong-Macao Overseas Chinese Youth Roundtable was successfully held in Wuhu, Anhui. Under the theme "Overseas Chinese Youth Gather in Jianghuai · Technology and Innovation Toward the Future," the event aimed to further unite the strength of young overseas Chinese from Anhui, Hong Kong, and Macao, establish a platform for exchange and cooperation, pool innovative wisdom, and inject momentum from the overseas Chinese community into the development of a better Anhui.

Anhui is a land of profound history and vibrant culture, as well as a dynamic hub of innovation and vitality. Currently, Anhui is accelerating its efforts to build itself into a source of scientific and technological innovation, a gathering place for emerging industries, a new highland for reform and opening-up, and a comprehensive green transformation zone for economic and social development. With firm and steady strides in high-quality development, the province provides an unprecedented broad stage and boundless business opportunities for young overseas Chinese from Hong Kong, Macao, and the Yangtze River Delta region (Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang) to engage in innovation and entrepreneurship.

The roundtable featured two main segments: "Face-to-Face with Overseas Chinese Youth" and "Stories of Overseas Chinese Youth." Representatives of young overseas Chinese from various regions engaged in in-depth discussions on fields such as technological innovation, industrial development, green finance, cultural exchange, and social services, sharing experiences and exploring opportunities for collaboration.

During the "Face-to-Face with Overseas Chinese Youth" segment, several representatives from the overseas Chinese community shared their personal life stories, offering profound intellectual inspiration.

The following "Stories of Overseas Chinese Youth" segment focused on cutting-edge technology and industrial practices, where multiple young overseas Chinese representatives shared their stories of dedication and pursuit of dreams in their respective fields.

In addition to thematic discussions, the roundtable also featured interactive exchanges and on-site visits, continuously empowering young entrepreneurs in innovation and entrepreneurship while actively supporting Anhui's high-level opening-up. Representatives of young overseas Chinese visited Chery Automobile, EFORT Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., the Wuhu Iron Painting Museum, and the ancient city of Wuhu for in-depth inspections. They experienced Anhui's profound cultural heritage, appreciated Wuhu's unique strengths in integrating technological innovation with traditional craftsmanship, and witnessed the robust pulse of Anhui's high-quality development.

It is reported that the Anhui-Hong Kong-Macao Overseas Chinese Youth Roundtable is one of the signature projects under the Anhui Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese' brand matrix "Overseas Chinese Gathering in Jianghuai." It aims to unite outstanding young overseas Chinese from Hong Kong, Macao, and the Yangtze River Delta region, build bridges for connection, friendship, business exchanges, and career cooperation, promote exchanges and collaboration among Anhui, Hong Kong, and Macao, and serve Anhui's high-level opening-up. Since its inception in 2023, the roundtable has attracted over a hundred young overseas Chinese participants from the three regions and facilitated multiple cooperative intentions.
